About FADAM
FADAM (African Festival of Martial Arts) is the only Open of all martial arts in the world. It was founded in 2017 by Master Dominique SAATENANG, nicknamed « African Bruce Lee ». The festival is produced by the International Shaolin Black and White Association. The first edition of FADAM took place in 2018 in Cameroon. FADAM takes place every year in an African country and aims to promote the diversity of martial arts and the multiple talents and cultures of Africa.
Master Dominique SAATENANG, president and founder of FADAM, is the first African in history to have entered the Shaolin Temple in China. He is an Ambassador of the Shaolin Temple since 2011. He is also a former World Kung Fu Champion. Through FADAM, he fulfils his ambition to allow African youth to showcase their talents and compete with the best athletes in the world. He has created the first competition bringing together all martial arts disciplines in a single international event.
